When is Goodbye

COVID-19, a true nightmare
What have we done
To cause such despair

All lives at risk
No chance to see loved ones pass
Recall the closeness we shared
The memories that’ll ever last

An uncertainty, calamity, you’ve brought upon us
Who do we turn to before all becomes dust

Your impact so significant
The whole world a blight
Will we ever be liberated from this interminable fright
