When Is It Enough?

In a world falling to pieces,
She slowly loses herself,
Her pain never ceases,
As her heart turns on itself...

He watches her from a distance,
Watching her heart turn cold,
Seeing her disappear from existence,
Seeing the world take it's toll...

Dark, deceitful and cruel,
Is this world we thought we once knew,
Hurt, sorrow and poverty is its fuel,
This is how the government grew...

Busting backs to work for the man,
When the man isn't even the man,
Thinking they are kings of us,
When indeed they are no higher than us...

Taking away our freedom and rights,
Our safety our homes,
Our right to fight,
The system is slowly killing us,
When is enough going to be enough....
