I’m just wondern’ what might happen
Were you to see me standing
Outside your door someday
Would you smile at the memory of me?
Happy to see me after so long
Or close the door and send me away

Time is everlasting of my love for you
No matter where you may travel
Or where you hang your hat
They say distance makes the heart grow fonder
Love compounding every day
Guess I’m living proof of that

And Sharon, how the mention of your name
Brings a certain smile to my face
