When The Yearning Has Come

Like a mystery waiting to be known
But only unraveled to be sealed
Her love that She has for Me sown
Is that the same that I too wield
Lost in a ripple drifting off in the Sky
Waiting to join the wave that submerges
Found Her soul in my heart, caught in My eye
Is what Her heart seeks and urges
Willing to venture to the ends of the Earth
Only to find that it is just the beginning
The Phoenix shutters and springs forth from its birth
Is the end of the start always winning
Coveting Me with it's breath, our child sleeps
Linen and lavender flood Our minds tonight
With it's every movement our hearts skip and leap
And You know I'll never let this out of My sight
She waits again tonight looking to find
The man She once knew with the moon in His eyes
As the mist shrouding the earth unwinds
She learns a child is never lost in a fool's lie
