When They Have My Eyes

I am a loyal lover to a man I committed with
but, love is broad indeed and is not selfish
everywhere I go I found a new dear
one by one I take them home and even sleep on my bed.

I hear no complain from a busy partner
as long as I am careful they won’t do any trouble
I take care of them like how I take care of him
in the end of the day, I feel not alone.

but, the time comes when he finally reacts
“what are you doing?” he says with warmth
I hug him tight as the kittens’ paws wrap on his legs
and I say, my heart could not refuse when they have my eyes.
