When You Go

Should you go into the night alone
Keep me in mind
Preventing the dusk from crucifying our love
Keep your heart from turning stone

As the night is for thieves
The shadows may try to take you
Keep our love strong
Wear your heart on your sleeve

Should you go into the night alone
Silence your words
Speak like the dead
To obviate Mother Night from getting in your head

As the night holds a nefarious scheme
It wants treachery on your heart
Death to our love
Keep us true don't let it take our dream

Should you go alone into this nocturnal nightmare
Display our incandescent romance
Illuminate our illustrious affair
Defeating the dusk with our passion's glare

Should you come out of this night with your heart unscathed
Our love will be immortalized
The darkness could not exile
You, the "Christ," our love you saved
