Where do we go from Here

This seemingly endless expanse of being
stretches on to a far-away place in time.
Endless responsibilities are all I am seeing,
as life is set to slowly unwind.

As the years build and senses alter
the quanta of time is moving faster.
I keep the course and do not falter
edging closer to deaths disaster.

That soul that resides within
has never changed since birth.
Maybe at death we begin again
reincarnate for what it is worth.

Or possibly we join the whole
the all, the ultimate Zen
I guess it is designed to not know
until the final end.
....but that just sucks!
