Where my sidewalk ends
My sidewalk ends at my grave
I need no dirt, no gravel, no pave
All of my friends will have gone and passed
And still I fear I might be last
My sidewalk ends with my friends
The road is straight but yet it bends
So until the end when we meet again
No one knows where their sidewalk ends
My sidewalk ends with me at last
I have some memories of the past
Some are good but some are bad
I think of the great times I've had
My sidewalk ends wherever I go
With the evil or with no foe
I have no clue where it will end
But I hope it ends with you, my friend.
I need no dirt, no gravel, no pave
All of my friends will have gone and passed
And still I fear I might be last
My sidewalk ends with my friends
The road is straight but yet it bends
So until the end when we meet again
No one knows where their sidewalk ends
My sidewalk ends with me at last
I have some memories of the past
Some are good but some are bad
I think of the great times I've had
My sidewalk ends wherever I go
With the evil or with no foe
I have no clue where it will end
But I hope it ends with you, my friend.
