Where the Grass Grows Green

There’s a place where the sky is Pink
The trees are Purple, their leaves Mink
A place where you don't have to Think
The only place where the grass grows Green

Somewhere where there’s always fresh Air
A person who is stressed has no Cares
You can leave if you don’t want to be There
The only place where the grass grows Green

But when you leave it, please keep it Secret
For if you tell a Soul, They’ll Follow
They want to see, they want to Believe
That there is a place where the grass grows Green

When they see it, they’ll cheer and Shout
They’ll laugh and dance all About
But after a while their joy runs out
They don’t care where the grass grows Green

Even you, the one who first Believed
Spat on the grass, and kicked a Tree
You left when you promised not to Leave
You don’t care where the grass grows Green

Years passed, you never came Back
You got on a train after you Packed
The only thing left is a duck the never Quacks
Now there is Gray where the grass grew Green
