Whirl War

It SWirls through the air; it glides
latched on several souls, it rides
defining irrational destruction,
a contagious notion

It's a whirlpool,
luring fools
who let history's labels rule
their present ideas of each other
with blind perceptions of another

However, my eyes are not blind;
my ears only intake the mind
of him who avoids ignorance,
uplifts outnumbered justice;
crushes malice

Now the new breeze in our midst
the one nobody can resist
is defrosting frozen fists
the wind from my own lips
holds out its hand
and the whole world grips

It swirls through the air; it glides
latched on several souls, it rides
