Whiskey Breath and Broken Wings

Whiskey Breath and Broken Wings
Righteous Acts performed in vain
Sorrowed men fight to their deaths
But the song remains the same

These bleeding hearts wish for death
For love has put them to the test
The test was passed with flying colors
But they could not live without each other

In a demon's arms lay a broken angel
For love is stronger than any label
The blue eyes of an angel looked on in vain
While the black eyes of a demon, like a flood in the rain

The snares of death in love and war
Were too much for these two to bear
For righteous acts performed in vain
Like Whiskey Breath and Broken Wings
