Whispering Angels

She was hurt and alone so she called to the angels.
There were no phones to reach them. No phones at all.
She called up to heaven with pleas from her heart.
My angels she whispered please come to me.
Please help me my angels rid misery.
Help me she whispered in her hour of need.
She fell asleep crying so deep in her soul.
The last words she murmured were please help me now.
While sleeping so soundly the angels appeared.
They wrapped wings around her and cradled her near.
They wiped tears from her face rocking her gently.
Singing songs in her ear.
She heard them whisper things would be alright.
As she danced with her angels in her dream that night.
She woke to the sunshine peering into her room.
Her kitty was purring nestled next to her face.
Her heart was still heavy but she felt some relief.
She said thank you my angels for sharing her grief.
I surrender my darkness in exchange for your light.
Thank you my angels for coming last night.
Our angels are here to protect us with majestic wings.
They are power and love and know everything.
Call on your angels the message is clear.
Call on your angels and they will appear.
