White Night
It hurts to see you cry
In the shadow
Of this white night
I stand by you
You are not alone
There's my hand under your arm
The sun is long gone
The moon is sliding through the clouds
A gentle breeze rustles your soft hair
But your tears reflect your pain
O! How long will you continue to bleed
You lovely little leaf?
Let go the pain
Its time to lay down and rest
And let this white night be dark again
In the shadow
Of this white night
I stand by you
You are not alone
There's my hand under your arm
The sun is long gone
The moon is sliding through the clouds
A gentle breeze rustles your soft hair
But your tears reflect your pain
O! How long will you continue to bleed
You lovely little leaf?
Let go the pain
Its time to lay down and rest
And let this white night be dark again
