Who

By

Who would have known
My home would be turned prison
A haven turned lockdown
A dwelling turned cave

Who could have known
My city could freeze
A community could suspend
A cycle could stand still

Who should have known
My mind shall be my worst enemy
A thought shall be a poison
A moment shall be an eternity

Yet a life turned downside up
Is still a life, and a soul will cope
Because when the worst stares down with eyes of Sin
Who can be afraid to hope?
