Who is he?

Who is he?

Who is he? This man that they remember as fun.

Who is he? What memories? Because I, his daughter, have none.

Who is he? This man who just up and left me here.

Who is he? This man who left me in the hands of the man I fear.

Who is he? The one who didn’t want me, didn’t call me and didn’t hear my cries.

Who is he? I finally found him and I think I have his eyes.

Who is he? This man who I just met for the very first time.

Who is he? This man who wants me to call, like everything should be fine.

Who is he? He wasn’t there. He shouldn’t have a say.

Who is he? The man who wasn’t there for the hurt but he had no idea it ended up this way.

Who is he? I should have asked when I had him close.

Who is he? It hurts to say but I guess I’ll never know.

Who is he? To leave me before we had a chance to start.

Who is he to leave again
Who is he to break my heart.
