Who Knew

Who Knew?
The strong one in the house,
Always there, never faltering,
Quiet as a mouse,
What happened next was mind-altering.

Considerate, Quiet, and Kind,
Always thinking, never spending,
Just needing time to unwind.
Always ready with a hand to lend.

Loved & cared for the family,
Just never showed it.
Taught us to appreciate the small things,
And roll with it.

Some things are bigger than we think,
Stronger than we are, at our best,
All we can do is climb the mountain
And put it all to rest.

No crying, worrying, or stressing,
Just remember him at his best.
He may be gone & out of sight,
But he will be in our hearts & minds every night.
Miss You Dad,
Love You,
