Who You Are

I look around and everybody is so salient,
the darkness fills the room
but the people around me light the way to where i am supposed to be
everything i do is part of who i am
the good the bad the ugly
people are around me like a herd of wild buffalo
as i make the path to the river
so maybe it is true that without anybody you can't live
there is no such thing as one heart
there is a chain of hearts that are linked together
like the cars on the train
that make you who you are and who you are meant to be
so work together to be yourself
and that is the key to happiness and peace.
