Whole


Today he
Stepped through the door
And my smile was a rising sun
spreading light across my facial landscape,
and that is all.

Nothing more to add or subtract.
No physical penetration
No literal multiplication
No ex in the equation
No fractures, factors or fractions
And certainly no division
Because we are won.)

And when the king is home.
I am whole.
