People ask me why I run.
I think I figured it out.
It's because I run to think, to alleviate stress and over thought.
When I finish high school,
I'm not going to get or even try to get an athletic scholarship.
I run for me,
because at the end of the day when all my friends are fighting,
I remember I'm in high school and drama is normal.
The one thing I remember is running.
I remember that I can always go on a run,
stop thinking,
make time slow down.
I remember my childhood,
how I used to run just to see friends more.
I don't get to see my friends as often because of running now.
Because now I strive for faster and stronger and better and hurt.
I strive to be better and I think running does that.
