Why Does He Love Me?

I look into the mirror and all that I can see
Is a plain brown-eyed girl staring back at me.
He looks into my eyes and hidden deep inside
I see his love for me, a love he can't hide.
What is inside me that deserves his deep love?
It's not in my looks, I'm no angel from above.
Why should he love me, the plain girl next door?
What it is that he loves is something I'll never see.
He sits and watches me as I move around the house.
What he can find to love is something I'll never know.
His touch is so gentle, his voice so soft and sweet;
What I did to deserve him is far beyond me.
Whatever it is inside me that causes his deep love
Goes far beyond my looks; he thinks I'm sent from above.
Why he should love me, the plain girl from next door,
What he could find to love, it's a secret I'll never know.
