Why Don’t They Care

Why do the rich get richer
Why do the poor stay poor
Why don't people take the time
To lend a hand no more

People today have changed so much
They're rotten, cruel, unfair
They never look at their fellow man
They really just don't care.

It's a shame to think of how they are
Compared to what used to be
If rich men would just open their eyes
the poor would be set free.
