Why Him

It was you and me.
Us on our own.
My father deceased and you all alone.
You only had me,
To me you were strong.
My hero, my role model, and my home.
But they only fault you ever did have,
Was choosing men who treated you bad,
I love you and all you've done.
But those men you let enter
They do harm all along.
I could never fathom why you could be weak.
For these men who were nothing but hate fueled beats.
You let them control you,
You let them harm me.
Why do you love him,
What happened to you and me.
So here I am sobbing again,
I am alone, missing my only close friend.
