Why Speak, Why Try

Why do I speak?
Why do I even try?
My smile has become so week,
This laughter is all lies.

I'm tired of pretending that everything's okay,
I'm tired of the way you ignore my pain.
You don't even care if you ruin my day,
I'm slowly beginning to go insane.

Tell me, when will your eyes seek only me?
When will your attitude begin to deplete.
You're sucking out all my glee,
I spiritually feel beat.

You think it's okay to sext on your phone,
nd dating sights, how could I be so dumb?
I feel like hiding, I just want to run.

Why do I even speak?
Why do I even try?
The tears come hard & roll down my cheek,
I keep asking myself why?
