Wildfire

Burn, the crackling fire
Burn to the ground
Wood smoke wood ashes
Sparks in the air floating towards the trees
Leaves crunch when trampled
Shadows scatter from the heat
Orange, red, yellow flames spread throughout
Deathly light in the night of the shadows
Black smoke underneath the dark sky
Bright stars become shady curtains
The soul shakes in every living being
Time slows from fear as the light spreads
Running, tripping, scrapes, and burns
Chaos through fear, fear through chaos
The forest burns to the ground
Let the new forest begin

This Poems Story

Every poem I write is an escape from reality. The reality then, was realizing high school was ending and the beginning of tech school was right around the corner.
