Wildflower

I found you off the beaten path.
A fateful wind has carried us here,
Contrived by time and space, a sweet nostalgic scent:

Your seeds amuse my opportunistic hope,
Originally designed by evolved roots, elegantly tucked away.
Growing such wanderlust stems, promising enlightenment!
Oh and those tender leaves reaching out,
Alas, the warmth of a heartfelt bloom.

You are effervescent; most wild things are.
