Will Work for Wine
It'll warm my flesh and bones, to stir the crock,
Crush the mint and thyme, with a smell so bright.
Add the wine, in oven light, and wear the frock.
Pork, beef, chicken or fish, could be the dish,
Merlot and marsala, I need to buy.
A bottle of white goes great with the fish,
Basil and butter, I will choose to fry.
Beef cooked with red, is the choice of many,
I open the bottle to let it rest,
I add it to beef, to feed the plenty.
I will work for wine, to achieve the best.
I work for wine,
So you can dine!

"Will Work for Wine" was inspired in my kitchen, where creative juices flow and memories are made. I would like to thank my beloved grandmother, Agnes Pierce, and my mother, Ruth Moulton, for the time they spent teaching me the culinary arts. Their efforts will never be forgotten as I pass down this special gift to my five children, five grandsons, and future generations.
