Windows to the Soul

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul
Yours are as black as death, and are cold
Do they reveal deceit or some dark secret?
A malicious monster? I won't want to meet it

They say that the eyes are the windows to the soul
Yours are as blue as the ocean waves that roll
Do they show unpredictable rage or a calm understanding?
A mind full of cunning? What are you really planning?

They say that the eyes are the window to the soul
Yours are as green as the jades you stole
Do you betray the truth and replace it with lies
Because of your jealousy and exasperated sighs?

They say the eyes are the window to the soul
Yours are as brown as a colt being stalked by a wolf
They project innocence, but that is just a front
They hide an unsatisfied hunger of a predator on the hunt
