Winter

Every snowflake shining white
falling through the silent night.
Trees beg to have their leaves back
while the snow is turning brown and black.
The bears are sleeping on the ground
and the deer are roaming around.
A snowball forms and starts to fly
when dark clouds take over the sky.
Presents are opened and spreading joy
snow creeps up on girls and boys.
The ground is as dark as night
until the snow comes and spreads the light.
Snowmen are formed with glee
and St. Nick comes to you and me.
