As my long winter reached its solstice,
She became my midnight Sun
Illuminating the World.
Finally, I caught a glimpse of beauty.

Alas, no flower bloomed.
Her light could not thaw my icy heart.
Soon, this sun set, like the others before.
And I was alone as the World froze over.
