Winter around the Black Alien

Frozen bits of silky cotton swirl, uncontrolled
The lights were off in heaven
A figure sat in the midst of the blizzard
Sights mirrored the skyline in the lake
Evaporating mist seeps into the darkness
Not a move in quite some time
This is home
Materialistic things un-noticeable
No problems
No overexposed noise
Just tracks cushioned by albino sand
A smile creeps across his face
One barely seen to the naked eye
An inner child stares into an abyss
Mesmerized by nature
In December
Non-special to everyone
Just about anyone
Alien enjoys the simple things
Without a worry
Snow gets heavier
The smile gets bigger
To those who aren't blind to the winter
