Winter Beginnings

Listen as the soft winter breeze whistles throuh the forest
as the new air bites the tips of your fingers harsh azure
As the algae layered lake turns teal with a new layer of ice
The birds leave heading for the navy oceans of the south
Flying through the blue sky turning with gray
The willows covered in ice chime with a soft lingering goodbye
As the sweet blueberry juice turns sour with every pasimg moment
Just look around to find A pinch of serenity,
The new season brings the new beginnings of the land
