Winter Has Come

Winter has come, fireplace is burning non-stop
The warm; crackling, aroma, of seasoned wood
Animal snow tracks in the fields from the night before

The snow-covered landscape, a Van Gohn masterpiece
Rocking chair; winter mountain views, life is good
Winter has come, fireplace is burning non-stop

After dinner wine by the fire, alone and in peace
A man's best friends and me, just as it should
Animal snow tracks in the fields from the night before

Nature's backyard views; hills and all, puts a mind to ease
The mountains, the forest, and rivers provide my livelihood
Winter has come, fireplace is burning non-stop
Animal snow tracks in the fields from the night before
