Winter Nights

Among the twinkling lights,
The cold winter air,
Chilling any passer by to the bone;
Stands a pair,
Surrounded by etched wood
They stand, in each other embrace .

Amidst the stars
They dance
Talk and create their own memories,
Like those surrounding them;
Here they stand
Unbothered by the winter air,
Warmed by the company on one another.

There they find each other,
Find a happiness,
That will bind them together;
For how ever long it will hold
Among those sparkling trees,
Memories are created,
In these winter nights.
