Winter Queen (Acrostic Poem)
Winter has taken her reign.
Icicles mark her domain.
Nights give way to her royal plot.
Temperatures steadily drop, drop, drop.
Every morning is crowned with her glory;
Radiant snow covers her territory.
Quick-tempered blizzards she creates in a wonder.
Unlike fall, spring, and summer,
Earth comes subject and ceases its vibrant colors,
Encamped about her frigid throne,
Neither friend nor foe, but her alone.
