Winter Solstice – The Night Has Come

All those who fear the light of day
May all come out to romp and play.

Those who cannot find their place
'Mong those harsh daylight gladly claims,

The outcasts, feared and wild and red
Who through the darkness brightly tread.

Through the shadows of the night
Chanting by the firelight -

We who speak with moon and tree -
This longest night shall set us free.

Tonight all those the Daylights shun
May laugh and sing and dance as one,

For night has come!
The night has come.
