Winter Twenty-Seventeen

A holiday sweater,
A thoughtful gift. . .
A jacket of leather,
What a nice, clever thrift. . .

The cold, crisp weather,
Notice the suttle sudden shift. . .
Time spent together,
What a genuine uplift. . .
Leaves fallen,
Left mounds of snow drift. . .

The peaceful sound
Of a quiet night. . .
Snuggled softly
By warm candlelight. . .
Loved ones, fireplace,
What a comforting sight. . .

Hold me close,
Just not too tight. . .
Inside warm,
Avoiding signs of Frostbite. . .

Warm sentiments tied in a bow. . .
Next year, get ready for the next show . . .
