Winter Winds

frosted flakes and lonesome leaves speak white
covering summers warm smile that brings joy
the frost falls to choke the last of falls breath
to blemish the joy brought by its warm wind
it coats the life of the forest to freeze
then to crack and shatter the joy in air
then eternal night falls upon hard times
Jack Frost is here, so cling to summer's smile
