Winter's End
Quiet your mind, still your thoughts,
These words are enough,
You are enough.
Like the branches of a tree,
Sway in the storm,
You too will be shaken,
Mended and torn.
But ground yourself in the moment,
Let your roots take hold,
In the soil of existence,
To be is to grow.
Therefore, you are not finished,
There is purpose in your dismay,
For this season is ending,
And spring is on its way.
These words are enough,
You are enough.
Like the branches of a tree,
Sway in the storm,
You too will be shaken,
Mended and torn.
But ground yourself in the moment,
Let your roots take hold,
In the soil of existence,
To be is to grow.
Therefore, you are not finished,
There is purpose in your dismay,
For this season is ending,
And spring is on its way.
