Winter’s Hope

It was a scenic winter night
The sky was shining so bright

Then a cloud of bats came flying by
Dark became the night sky

The street seemed to grow
The howls kept me on my toes

Wolves and bats, I thought what's next?
Then I saw a gray vortex

The snow turned to ash
But then I thought about my past

Happiness and so filled with joy
Like Christmas morning as a young boy

All the creatures let me be
Besides one that preached, don't let the spirit ever leave
