Wisdom

Sometimes, I bask in inner light
The fortitude of a child's delight
Proclaiming myself to be regal
A charming voice, a powerful eagle
Flitting around, enjoying the sights
From the top of the tree, or a beam of light.
I spread my glitter on the moon and stars
Colorful droplets of musical bars
Timeless, ageless, beauty from within,
Paints a morning dew of a light chagrin.
In a universe so vast and bright
We must always bow to a child's delight.
Even at the darkened door,
Ill-fated futures as you wait for more.
The child you serve is your first defense
Worthy of joy, love, and confidence.
Remember always be young at heart
At the end of life, as you were at the start.
Bask in your own display
Inner beauty will light your way.
I cast these words to your lending ear
For I am but a servant, a light shining sphere.
In a universe so vast and bright
We must always bow to a child's delight.
