wishes and whispers

Sometimes children make wishes in the middle of the night at the edge of the bed.
They hope and hope with all of their might that someday the wish will become reality.
They say them in whispers.
As the starry night sky and moon give them light.
Often people wonder what happens to their wishes once they are whispered.
Vulnerable to ears close by.
They turn to dust and travel to the starry sky.
They travel and travel beyond the miles that can be imagined.
After all what do you think star dust is?
Wishes and whispers.
