Wishing You Were Mine

Gazing in your eyes I see truth
Falling deeper in love
Knowing you not that well
Rationalizing that it is I
The answer to all your problems
Insidious visions of your face in my mind
Dissembled by passion
Now your body quintessential to me more than water and food
Your smiles my umbrella from the rain and pain
Never forgetting to pray
Lend me your ear
Voicing all grimace from life
Melted by sagacious words of wisdom
Whispering you were different
Wishing you were mine
