With a Hint of Lime

The Summer breathes new energy into our Love
With the flowers growing and the singing of the dove
You and I smiling in the morning light
Sharing a drink or two while catching fireflies at night
Friends gather in groups for a moonlit barbecue
No matter how big the crowd I feel as though its just me and you
Songs and laughter heard around the fire pit
It's about that time for the fireworks to be lit
Someone leaves their seat while calling fives
I'm caught staring into your beautiful eyes
I move closer to sneak in a kiss
Moments like these you know I would never miss
The party continues as I hold you tight
No detail is wrong everything is absolutely right
The entire night goes smoothly as if it had rhythm and rhyme
Only during the Summer does our Love come with a hint of lime.
