With sleep comes peace

She closed her eyes,
Imagined life without her.
The trees still swayed
Birds still sang
Everything was the same without her.
A few watered eyes
However, nothing to be concerned.
She felt sleep call to her,
To which she felt undisturbed.
She felt empty.
She felt alone.
She decided to let go,
And her eyes never opened again.
