Withered Angel

Abandoned by everything familiar and choking in my own pain,
Unable to recover, with no air to breathe in these tears of rain.
Silence surrounds, yet screams fill this aching, tortured head.
Attempt to find myself, but discover a deadened soul here, instead.
Pray to God to save me and lift away the sorrow that weighs,
But these lips ran out of words, there's nothing left to say;
How can I beg my God for mercy when I have none left myself?
Pleading for a hand to grip onto, but there is no one else-
Ran out of options, destroyed everything that once was here.
Everyone's demons are buried deep, but mine are seen so clear.
Invisible to this world lays this lost loving heart inside,
And only the filth and damage is seen by all judgmental eyes.
