Without a House but With a Home

Without a house but with a home
No marble arches or doorways chrome
no warm invite
on a sleepless night
No empty beds
Just worried heads
without a house but with a home
Where tunes of caring drone
Where love is found
in a hopeless sound
Dreams created without bliss
not fulfilled, just emptyness
Without a house but with a home
A cardboard box for a make shift dome
Hopes alive within the soul
As search continues on where to go
A young girl wondering wild
Already carrying her first child
she is without a house but with a home
love in her heart as they roam
