Without Her

Love is a wonderful feeling
The same time so very painful
Wondering is the pain worth it
Maybe anymore I'm not so willing

The days seem to grow longer
Nights becoming never ending
It's all racing throughout my mind
Every moment is about her

As I close my eyes I feel her next to me
Against my chest her head lays
The warmth of her body against mine
In reality an illusion is all I see

Realizing she was never there
Overwhelming sadness sets in
Trying to forget the times with her
How will the rest of my life fare?

Thoughts of her bring nothing but pain
Wanting to let go of all I know
She won't leave my mind
Life has become a never ending rain

Her and I will be forever apart
Different is how I want it to be
Giving up on love is what I'll do
Forever alone with a broken heart
