Without Words

The sky was clear, no sign of rain.
We wandered to a place without pain.
But as we continued our journey,
The weather became gloomy.

The rain fell so hard and heavy.
You told me you weren't ready,
That you couldn't forget your first love.
You told me to let you go like a white dove.

You started walking away.
Your fading silhouette is all I see.
My eyes are producing heavy rain,
Heavy rain that I couldn't contain.

Without words, I heard my heart broke.
I felt my knees weakened.
Without words, I stared at your silhouette,
Wishing you would stop and look back.

Without words, you came into my heart.
Without words, you broke me apart.
