Woke Love

I fall asleep next to the one I love and wake up to a complete stranger.
His overnight thoughts haunting his dreams making him face his realities.
I found him when he was broken or he found me.
Yet I had this Need to "fix" him.
But how do you fix a loveless heart?
How do you plant a seed?
How do you know what nurtures THIS Mans soul.
For all are in need of something different.
All I know is I love Him.
Jeckle and Hyde both capture my soul.
One of them loves me and keeps me on cloud 9.
The other so in need of love, that destruction is the Only Other path.
I fall asleep next to the one I love and wake up to a complete stranger.
Some days its like I am Not even Here.
Just subconsciously watching and sympathizing from the sidelines.
Wishing I knew the cure.
The antidote.
Willingly lacking my needs.
Becoming emotionally disembarked by the smallest of things or words.
Yet I am here. Never giving in.
A lover with unknown words of abuse. An invisible controlling nature.
But you cannot punish someone for something they know not.
Its a daily game of Russian Roulette. I never know Who or What I may get.
Yet still, night out, morning in.
I fall asleep next to the one I love and wake up to a complete stranger.
