Wolf and Sheep

Severed, disconnected
Anguish amplified
The fear you concocted
Manifesting inside
Soon will wither and die
Tormenting taunt
Horrified distraught
Your sins they multiply
Confessions many
Yet still you lie
Cloaking, masquerading
Disillusioned I am not
Eyes they see
What others see not
Wickedness, deception
Falsehoods, manipulation
Slight of hand
Lash of tongue
Fooled nor foolish
Schoolgirl ideals
Innocence vanquished
Trampled extinguished
The fire snuffed out
Moons ago
Break me
You do not
